FAQ

Frequently asked questions and answers

What do the training sessions look like?

We offer 3 training options: PRIVATE, SEMI-PRIVATE and RECREATION. Training takes place at pre-arranged times – in the morning, afternoon or evening.

They contain a combination of strength, explosiveness, speed and mobility training. Each trainee has a plan made specifically for them. Depending on the test results, wishes, goals and, in the case of athletes, the demands of the sport.

Training takes place in the SuperTrening gym at Ljubljanska cesta 3a in Celje. You can see what the gym looks like here>>.

Are the trainings only suitable for athletes?

No. Each program is specifically tailored to the needs of the individual. Whether it is a recreational athlete, an athlete or someone who has undergone surgery.

We train with young and top athletes of various disciplines, amateur or recreational athletes and those who want to improve their appearance, ability and well-being.

Do I need any prior knowledge for weight training?

No, no prior knowledge is required. We will teach you everything. You will also be supervised by experts throughout to ensure that you perform all exercises safely and correctly – for optimal results.

Are the programs tailored to meet my goals?

Each program is individually written for the individual based on goals, desires, test results, experience and prior knowledge, and in the case of athletes, based on the needs of the sport.

We also perform regular measurements during the program and based on these, we adjust the program for better results.

Where do the trainings take place?

Training takes place in the SuperTrening gym in Celje (Ljubljanska cesta 3a – under the student service).

For dedicated speed training with athletes, we use the athletics stadium of the 1st Gymnasium in Celje.

Who do I train with?

We are kinesiologists, sports educators, athletic trainers and sports scientists.

In the last 10 years, we have worked with more than 2500 athletes and individuals of various levels, at home and abroad. Trainees notice their progress after just 12 weeks of training.

You can read more about each of us here>>.

How many workouts per week do I need to make progress?

Our recommendation for optimal progress is at least 3 training sessions per week. You can do all of them with us or combine them with your own training.

For smaller progress, 2 training sessions per week are also sufficient. However, 1 training session per week is enough to at least maintain the condition and the gained muscle mass and function.

How do I know if your trainings are right for me?

Our trainings are suitable for everyone who is aware that results do not happen without your effort and overnight.

They are only achieved through regular, smart and high-quality work over the long term. If you have the will, energy, time and money, we have the knowledge, experience and skills to guide you on this path and direct you towards your goal.

We advise you on all aspects of your lifestyle – training, nutrition and regeneration. When the matter exceeds our scope of knowledge, we refer you to experts in various fields with whom we cooperate (physiotherapy, nutrition, psychology).

I am injured or have had surgery. When can I start working with you?

A kinesiologist or a strength & conditioning coach can start their work after the physiotherapist has finished or is in the final stages.

This means that you have only milder pain and have (almost) full range of motion. At the same time, you are not yet ready for the full burdens of life or sports. This can mean normal walking, lifting and carrying loads, running, or jumping and sprinting in the case of athletes.

We work with physiotherapists we trust. Contact us and we can connect you with one of them.

Differences between IN-SEASON and OFF-SEASON for athletes?

The INSEASON program runs throughout the year. We work either live in our gym or remotely. The training sessions are tailored to your training and the competitions you have. We place the content sensibly so that you can make optimal progress during the season.

You can get all the information about ONLINE training here>>.

OFFSEASON programs start on May 15th and last until August 31st.

You can get more information about OFF-SEASON here>>.

The difference between a kinesiologist, a strength & conditioning coach and a physiotherapist?

A kinesiologist can lead rehabilitation treatment after various injuries, maintain and improve the physical condition of athletes and other populations, and prevent or limit the development of various chronic medical conditions.

A strength & conditioning specialist specializes in the work and preparation of individual or team athletes. At the same time, his work may also include the treatment of late post-rehabilitation treatment after injuries or conditions.

A physiotherapist deals with acute rehabilitation of various musculoskeletal and other chronic problems and acts as soon as the problems arise or after surgery.

We are kinesiologists and S&C coaches, and we actively cooperate and direct our trainees to physiotherapists we trust.

What is the price of training?

The price depends on the type of training and the number of visits.

In any case, an introductory individual training is absolutely necessary.

You can find the full training price list here>>.

What does introductory individual training look like?

Introductory individual training is a prerequisite for joining any of the offered training methods.

During the introductory training, we discuss your goals, desires, training history and possible injuries.

The trainer guides you through a range of movement patterns, where we test your abilities and knowledge. This way, the trainer gets to know you, your abilities, experience and possible limitations. This is coordinated with your desires and goals and in this way we can recommend a group for which you would be suitable.

The training is adapted according to your level of knowledge, age, desires and abilities.

Get quality feedback and guidance for continuing your training.

This means that you continue with individual training or, after completing, say, 5 or 10 individual training sessions, join the selected type of training (semi-private, recreation).

In online training, the introductory training is replaced with an introductory 30-minute conversation.

Can I train with you remotely?

For those of you who don’t have the opportunity to train with us live, ST Online is available. You can find all the information here>>.

Do you also work with physiotherapists, nutritionists and psychologists?

Because we believe in connecting and holistic treatment, we work with all of the above experts.

We can connect you with our physiotherapists, nutritionist, or sports psychologist.

Contact us for more information.

What do I need to bring with me to training?

You need clean sports shoes, sports equipment, water, and a workout towel.

Do you offer your open gym option?

All our training sessions are led by a trainer. We do not offer an “open gym” option where you buy a ticket and train on your own. Our gym is boutique, equipped with modern equipment and technology, and focused on achieving the goals and potential of individuals. From this perspective, the quality is really high, all training sessions are carefully planned, led, and analyzed.

Can I try the training for free first?

You have a few options to try out the SuperTraining methods.

You can subscribe to our newsletter and receive 6 video-guided workouts for at home. No additional equipment is required for these workouts.

You can subscribe to ST Online and get a 7-day trial period (with videos and descriptive instructions).

We do not offer live workouts for free because they require our knowledge, effort and time. Since we make a living from it, we have to charge a fair price.
